Short story : Am I Happy?

"Oh God! seven its too late" Reema murmured as she was getting up from the bed. She visualized the number of shores that supposed to be finished within an hour. "At 8 Rakesh will go to the office and at 8.30 school bus will arrive" she told herself, in fact,  to her mind. She straight away went to her daughters room "Khushi and Tanvi" her angels.  Both are beautiful and intelligent. Khushi was 16 and Tanvi was 12. They never missed 1st rank in the school.
Rakesh usually said , "our angels are beautiful as you but thank God there brain is like me". This hurt Reema but she never reacted.  Reema was an undergraduate. She got married when she was in her final year. No one forced her that was her own decision.  It was a love marriage.  Rakesh was a software engineer working in a multinational. They had affaire when Reema was in her first year. she lost her focus in studies and completely engrossed in Rakesh. She was a bright student until 12th and wanted to make a career in finance. When she was in her final year Rakesh got a promotion to Hyderabad that was best opportunity for him.

"Kushi, Tanu get up it is already late."
"Get ready for school. I'm preparing breakfast". Reema said
Khusi slightly opened her eyes and looked at her. 
Reema didn't wait there as she knew she had a list of things to do.

Reema totally involved in preparing breakfast.  There were so many things to do.  Lunch boxes for girls, Rakesh's tiffin, breakfast.  Her hands were moving as though she was Robot.  Continuously accepting commands from the brain and just keep on following. In between, she was shouting from kitchen to Tanu as she was very slow to get ready. finally, Reema came out with lunchboxes in her.  She kept it on the table and asked Khushi to keep it in the bag. She gave one to Rakesh.
"I forgot to tell you, I have got a meeting with a client on lunch, Said Rakesh.
She gave a glance to him but he again kept his head inside the newspaper as though not even bother to her reaction.
"finished it fast the bus is about to come she shouted on Tanu".
"Ok, I'm going" Rakesh said after finishing his last sip of tea and got up. He tied his shoelace and went off.
Reema was just looking at his back. 
"Mom bus arrived" Khushi shouted that brought her attention back.
The girls ran towards the door Reema also went along with them. They went out and boarded the bus standing exactly in front of their gate.  They waved to Reema she too waved back.

Reema turned back and got inside. She shut the door and sat on sofa. She took her mobile and about to unlock meanwhile doorbell rang.
"It must be lata " she thought 
Lata was her maid usually came at this time.  Reema opened the door.  Lata came inside and went to the kitchen.
Reema again sat on the sofa and unlock her mobile. 
She blinked in surprise that was.....

Dependency

Too much dependency on some one sometimes break the heart. When the expectations raised and not fulfilled it leads to heartbreak.
